Responsibilities

• The Actuarial, Risk and Quants (ARQ) Vacation Work Programme is designed to give students hands-on exposure to real-world analytics, actuarial and quantitative problem-solving.
• The programme offers participants the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on practical projects across industries such as banking, insurance and capital markets, gaining insight into how data, modelling and analytical techniques are applied in a commercial environment.
• Participants will be exposed to advanced analytics, statistical modelling, machine learning, quantitative risk, and financial engineering concepts, while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application, providing valuable industry experience and insight into a potential long-term career.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be in their penultimate year of study in one of the following fields (or a closely related field):
• Actuarial Science
• Data Science
• Statistics / Mathematical Statistics
• Computer Science
• Quantitative Risk Management
• Mathematical Finance
• Financial Engineering
• Other related quantitative, mathematical, or analytical degrees
